  • Robert Herath, D.V.M.

    Veterinarian / Practice Owner
    Dr. Robert Herath was born and raised in Moline, IL. He did most of his undergraduate work at Augustana College then transferred to the University of Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1971 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1973. He practiced small animal medicine and surgery for 3 years in Jackson, MI. He then furthered his career by becoming certified by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 1976. Together with his wife Pat, they moved back to Illinois and founded the Quad City Pet Care. He enjoys his 2 poodles, Josie and Annie, traveling with his wife, being active in the community and especially spending time with his 2 sons, their wives and 4 grandchildren.

  • Chris Rall, D.V.M.

    Dr. Chris Rall came to our clinic as a relief vet in 2014. We liked her so much we asked her to join our staff full-time in March 2015. She grew up in Clinton, IA. After graduating high school, she attended Central College and earned a BA in Biology and Spanish. In 1995 she earned her degree in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University. After working in several eastern Iowa clinics, she moved to the Quad City area in 2008. She enjoys time with her family, being outdoors, playing with her numerous cats and all the activities that come along at her church.

  • Jennifer Bock-Vanaria, D.V.M.

    Dr. Jennifer Bock-Vanaria grew up in the Chicago suburbs. After completing her undergraduate studies at Augustana College, where she met her husband Rob, she attended the University of Illinois where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She began practice back in the Chicago area but they decided to return to the Quad Cities. They share their home with 3 fun loving cats named Cadillac, Haruka and Miki, 2 guinea pigs named Harlequin and Poison Ivy and a betta fish named Howl.When not at work, she enjoys games with her friends and family, cuddling with her furry friends and baking.

  • Lori Berg

    Lori came to our clinic in 1999. While running the day to day business of the practice, she strives for complete client satisfaction and optimal patient care. She enjoys chatting with our long-time clients and the opportunity of getting to know each new one. When not at the clinic, she loves to snuggle with her 3 dogs Bogey, Ana and Hope and spend time with family and friends.

    Alicia came to our clinic in 2004 after graduating from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. Her attention to detail and passion for improvement help keep our clinic stay current in veterinary medicine. In her spare time she loves to work around the house, spend time with her kids and learn car maintenance with her husband.

    Jessica came to our clinic in May 2011 after graduating from Parkland College. Her smile is contagious and her technical skills are exceptional. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, adorable kids and 2 kitties Toby and Teddy.

    Christina came to our clinic in October 2016 as she was studying at Muscatine Community College to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has since graduated and clearly loves what she does. When not at work, she keeps pretty busy with her husband, 3 children, 4 cats, 2 dogs and 2 turtles. She also loves to crochet, hike, fish, camp.

    Vet Assistant

    Tara came to our clinic in 2015. Whether she's knee-deep in lab work or assisting in surgery, she shows enthusiasm and commitment to exceptional patient care. She is currently studying to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. In her spare time she is usually still at work but when she's not she enjoys video gaming with her boyfriend Mitch, hiking, reading and playing with their 2 dogs Vinny and Lulu.

    Diana came to our clinic in 2007. Whether on the phone or in person, she makes every client feel special and goes out of her way to offer complete customer service. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her grandchildren and the "zoo" of animals she has at home.

    Julie came to our clinic in 1998. She moved away in 2005 but came back to us in 2011. She will always strive for complete client satisfaction and never fails to keep us on our toes. She can design a bulletin board that could be hung in an art gallery. In her free time, she enjoys photography, spending time with her family and furkids Meeps the cat and Hank the dog.
